Flexible Start Dates

Start dates and courses are flexible, so you can start your program when it’s best for you.


General Admission Requirements

  • Complete the application.
  • Submit the nonrefundable application fee. The application and fee are valid for one year from the date of the initial application. The fee is credited for the following groups of applicants:
    • Graduates of ACE degree programs;
    • Completers of ACE certificate and micro-credential programs;
    • U.S. veterans, active military members, members of the National Guard and Reserves and current spouses (as verified through submission of valid military ID or copy of DD214).
    • First responders defined as EMT/EMS, Firefighters, or Law Enforcement Officer.
  • For bachelor’s and post-baccalaureate level applicants (excluding RN to MSN/BSN), please provide official transcripts from an institution indicating successful completion of the education level required for program entry and any credits to be considered for transfer into a program. The institution must be accredited by an accrediting agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education or the Council for Higher Education Accreditation. Transcripts are considered official when mailed in a sealed envelope or through secured electronic transmission directly from the institution attended to American College of Education. Coursework completed at American College of Education will also be reviewed from the applicant’s existing file.
  • For RN to BSN and RN to MSN applicants, please provide official transcripts from an institution indicating successful completion of the education level required for program entry and any credits to be considered for transfer into a program. The institution must be accredited by an accrediting agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education, the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or be a state board of nursing approved program. Transcripts are considered official when mailed in a sealed envelope or through secured electronic transmission directly from the institution attended to American College of Education. Coursework completed at American College of Education will also be reviewed from the applicant’s existing file.

You will be notified of our admission decision through email after we have reviewed all required admission documents. If you meet admission requirements, you will either be fully admitted or provisionally admitted.

International Transcript Requirements

Transfer Your Credits to ACE

You can transfer credits from another institution. Please contact an Enrollment Counselor to see if your previous coursework can count toward an ACE degree or program. 

If you’ve already completed another ACE program or course, ask your Enrollment Counselor or Student Success Coach about stackability options.
